Senior Procurement Manager

On behalf of our client, we are looking for an innovative Senior procurement manager, who oversees the Supply Chain team-leading efficiency. The Procurement Manager’s responsibilities will spearhead the purchasing process from selecting suppliers to ensuring stock optimization, as well as provide guidance on sourcing and procurement processes. Responsibilities; • Discover profitable suppliers and initiate business and organization partnerships • Negotiate with external vendors to secure advantageous terms • Sourcing and engaging reliable suppliers and vendors. • Approving purchase orders and organizing and confirming delivery of goods and services. • Finalize purchase details of orders and deliveries • Examine and test existing contracts • Track and report key functional metrics to reduce expenses and improve the effectiveness • Collaborate with key persons to ensure clarity of the specifications and expectations of the company • Foresee alterations in the comparative negotiating ability of suppliers and clients • Expect unfavorable events through analysis of data and prepare control strategies • Preparing procurement reports. • Control spending and build a culture of long-term saving on procurement costs Requirements; • Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, logistics, or business administration. • Proven experience managing supply chain operations. • In-depth knowledge of preparing and reviewing contracts, invoicing, and negotiation terms. • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, and Access). • Management and leadership skills. • Multi-tasking and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks. • Highly organized and detail-oriented. • Strong leadership capabilities • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
