Description
FOOD INSPECTOR Ability to ensure food safety, security, quality and sanitation standard; Ability to Inspect and accept/reject incoming shipments of food and food ingredients on the basis of food safety requirements, as well as client, regulatory, industry standards, and internal requirements; Ability to routinely conduct onsite inspections and maintain food inspection database and documentation up-to-date; Ability to communicate orally with employees, vendors, management, and coworkers is crucial. Regular use of phone and email for communication is essential; Hearing and receiving food inspection information, and or inspecting food and documents; The ability to remain in a stationary position roughly 50% of the time; Occasional heavy lifting (30+ lbs.) may be expected; Other related duties.
