BOILER OPERATOR (IRINGA) 1. Qualifications and Experience Boiler Operation Certificate. At least 2years experience in Boiler Operation. 2. Core Competencies Excellent oral and written communication skills Detail-oriented and highly safety-conscious 3. Key Duties and Responsibilities Follow and ensure compliance with established SOPs. Ensure follow the start-up and shutdown procedures. Record all running conditions of the Boiler on the log sheet. Take water samples for analysis to check specifications. Ensure water treatment is efficient. Monitor Boiler operations and load requirements. Perform necessary repairs and replacements. Perform constant visual checks, read gauges and controls. Ensure that meter readings of pressure are correct. Inspects boiler pipes, valves, pumps, and safety devices for leaks and malfunctions. Periodically inspect and adjust control mechanisms. Ensure Boiler blowdown is functioning properly. Ensure the correct chemical dosages. Observe safety precautions and regulations. Ensure that corrective maintenance is implemented according to set procedures. Ensuring that housekeeping standards are maintained. Ensuring a safe working environment within the premises. Any other duties as assigned by the Superior.
