Full Job Description This position is responsible for the execution of audit functions assigned, and assists in the delivery of timely documentation of audit findings to management for review. The job holder will undertake assignments allocated to him/her by the team leader which may include performance audit, systems and process audit or audit of annual accounts of any entity funded from the public funds. Duties for the Audit Associate Job  Assist in conducting audit exercises and assurance in the auditee institutions, agencies and client’s corporations according to the prescribed scope within the audit process to ensure compliance with internal controls and procedures.  Collect data on information systems and processes of the auditee institution to be used in the validation of financial documents.  Obtain in-depth understanding of each function being audited, identify and assess risk during the audit process.  Assist in developing, presenting and finalizing audit reports  Assist in the preparation of documents i.e. working papers, planning memorandums and audit reports as required by management in line with the quality standards of the audit process Audit Associate Skills Required An ideal candidate should have: –  Knowledge of basic accounting and auditing concepts.  Experience with Microsoft Word and Excel (mandatory).  Perform audit on the client data and report findings.  Prepare financial statements and other reports in word and excel.  Verification of supporting documents such as contracts, licenses, and legal documents and extract details to Excel.  Communicate with the client on the documents required as per the Company guideline.  Carry out any other task assigned by the Team Lead.  Good communication in English (speak and write)  Job location will be Arusha.  Willing to serve the company for a minimum of three years. Audit Associate Job Requirements  A Bachelor’s Degree from a recognized University preferably in fields relevant to the audit function such as Auditing, Accounting, Finance, Economics, Mathematics, Business Administration disciplines.  Demonstrate proficiency in Information & Communication Technology  CPA (T) holder obtained the same year of first degree accomplishment will be an added advantage  Class Performance should be 4.0 GPA and above  Excellent command of both Kiswahili and English
